Argegno on Lake Como, a photo from Como, Lombardia

Photographer's Note

The lovely village of Argegno lies on Lake Como, at the foot of steep mountains. Here we see the ferry arriving with a load of tourists. A few people get off and explore the town, but most continue on to Como or Bellagio. You can also get to Argegno by car, but the ferry trip is more fun.

I used a contrast mask in Photoshop to lighten the shadows and bring out detail in the clouds.

Wow!! what a shot. An axcellent quality photo. Wonderfully executed with fabulous vivid colors, sharpness, clarity, POV and depth of field. This view of this lovely village, mountains is striking beautiful. Perfectly well done. Love it a lot.
