This Grade II listed red brick bridge spans the Cuckmere River in East Sussex, England. Believed to have been constructed around the early 19th century it is an elliptical arch with more modern extensions on either side of the riverbank.

I think this is a superb image Brian. I really like the POF you achieved. The vertical format emphasize the the small river flow under this colorful bridge. The water reflection add some bonus to overall composition. Well done.

Dear Brian,

A well chosen perspective, allowing us the view of the bridge and reflections, as well as the foreground which is refreshing from the normal way of presenting pics of bridges. The greenish tones in the grass forms a nice contrast against the strong reddish tones in the brickwork.

Hello dear Brian

I'm so glad that this beautiful little stone bridge has been heritage listed. There's so much history in Britain, I know that the authorities can get a little blase about conserving and maintaining it, especially in hard economic times. Wonderful vertical frame that truly adds to depth to this blovely image. The colours and reflections are incandescent and I love the symmetry. Superb work, thanks for sharing.

Feast for the eyes! That is one heck of a view well taken from a good view point. The intensity of RGB colors is gorgeous and importantly the compostion is really good and so well exposed with the eyes being led to the stone bridge. Great clarity, sharpness and contrast. Well taken. Congrats
