Arriving to Mexico City, the capital city of Mexico.
It is the most important economic, industrial and cultural center in the country, and the most populous city with 8,720,916 inhabitants (as of 2005) with metro population estimated at 23,000,000.
As of 2008, Mexico City is the city with the highest population in the world.
And it's just huge in area! We have been flying over it for quite some time till we reached the airport.
Note how the city climbs up mountain slopes...
