[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A shot from the Mayan ruins in Tulum, Mexico. Really magical place and if you are ever in the Yuctan it is worth a look. I tried to stagger the buildings to give the photo a sense of depth and also tried to work the caribbean sea into the shot.

tres belles couleurs de ce site maya tres particulier, le gris du ciel et le turquoise de l'eau donne de la force à cette photo...il ne manque d'un iguane sur les rochers!!!

Hi Richie--Nice POV and composition here. As you say, it helps to stagger the buildings and to make it apparent we are by the sea. The calm sea helps create a mood of timelessness--the buildings just sit there as history goes on. You might add more contrast on a cloudy day to get more drama. Regards, Ken.
