| A shot from the Mayan ruins in Tulum, Mexico. Really magical place and if you are ever in the Yuctan it is worth a look. I tried to stagger the buildings to give the photo a sense of depth and also tried to work the caribbean sea into the shot. |

Hi Richie--Nice POV and composition here. As you say, it helps to stagger the buildings and to make it apparent we are by the sea. The calm sea helps create a mood of timelessness--the buildings just sit there as history goes on. You might add more contrast on a cloudy day to get more drama. Regards, Ken.
