| We found this incredible outcropping with it's magnificent view while driving from Mazatlan to Durango. The highway is known as L'Espinoza del Diablo (The Devil's Backbone), a narrow, two-lane highway that hugs a cliff face as it twists and turns for a hundred kilometers up through rugged, tree-covered mountains. Few tourists ever make this trip twice as it is probably one of the most heart-stopping, white-knuckle journeys one can ever undertake. |
