Red dragonfly
This beautiful dragonfly in red, I found it this afternoon, giving turns little by little around the lemon tree that exists in the patio, went coming closer to her, I took many pictures but she among the green leaves of the lemon tree, later she seemed to see me and he/she moved a lot, he/she gave turns to my surroundings and he/she left to place on this thread, I could come closer approximately to her to 10 centimeters and to take this picture. I find interesting the colors, some days ago I photographed one in black color, and this in red color I find fantastic, I am fortunate, she seemed to pose for me and it allowed him to take him many pictures (I thank it to him because I am not good in that of the macros) until I was able to obtain this. I believe that these beautiful insects are friendly.

That is a very good close-up of a dragonfly! Beautiful details on its wings and right DOF.

Very nice picture of some sort of Sympetrum I have been unable to put a name to it , the rope is an intresting perch the mortar in the wall is a little distracting though, you could tone this down using burn tool to darken it as you loose some detail where the wings cross the bright areas. Thank you for sharring

The background is a bit distarcting. You have a good POV in this picture. Overall, it is a good picture.. I am not keen about the frame though. I would prefer a black one to enclose such a beauty.

Hi Ninfa, very good macro you got here, very detailed and very nice colours. There's a nice diagonal because of the rope. The wings are really amazing. Good capture!

WOW!!! How did I miss this one??? Sensational macro detail and colour. The different "reds" are amazing and the perfect focus over the whole insect, including those viens (?) in the wings. A very good capture Ninfa, well done.

Amazing sharpeness! The transparent wings are nicely captured. It's a pity the photo is a bit bright overall.

Este macro esta increible, la claridad con la que captaste a la libelula es muy buena. Pienso que el contraste de el fondo y el rojo de la libelula junto con la cuerda y el angulo en que tomaste la foto, hacen una composicion diferente e interesante. Felicidades!!

I would like to join the well-deserved applause for this great shot, Ninfa. I like a lot the diagonal of the twig, and how the wings of the dragonfly fill the frame. The colors and textural details on the wings and the body are amazing, and they stand out so very well even against a background that would threaten to claim too much attention. Very good shot, congratulations.

What makes this picture, is your choice of background which is very unusual for Macro shots and adds a lot to the red subject. Well seen and well done.
