Templo I. Periodo Clásico y Tardío Maya (siglos I a. C. y IX d. C.). Centro ceremonial construído con ladrillos. Comalcalco se localiza: al norte 18026´, y al oeste 93032´;es la ciudad más occidental del área maya, , es contemporáneo de las ciudades de Palenque y Yaxchilán, entre otras. Su nombre proviene del náhuatl: Comali-cali-co; de comal, utensilio para cocer tortillas; cali, casa y co, terminación toponímica; o sea: "Casa de los comales" o "Casa de ladrillos". Comalcalco inició la construcción de sus edificios de ladrillo en el siglo VII d. C; teniendo contacto con los pueblos de Xochicalco, Uxmal y Tikal, y después del siglo IX d.C., con los toltecas, náhuas y totonacas.

Ahh how unlucky,the note is in spanish and i can't understand a word :( It is a so nice place and i would like to know more about it.
About the photo , it needs more sharpness :)

This is one of the reasons why I would like to visit Mexico some day. Those ruins that one can nowhere else could see on earth except here. Good photo Ninfa.
