Photographer’s Note

This is a another photo of Puerto Peñasco's sunset.

Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, also known as Rocky Point, is a former fishing village and located along the northeastern shore of the Sea of Cortez or the Gulf of California. The city of Puerto Peñasco has some of the very best beaches and the water is warm and clear. Personally, the large tide especially during a full moon is part of its charm.

It was our last evening in Puerto Peñasco. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. I hope I captured the surreal and eerie feelings I experienced while walking around. Maybe I felt that way because we had such a good time and weren't ready to come home yet.

Excellent shot. Great color sunset, plus reflection on calm water surface, wavy sand (or mud) surface -partially submerged- at FG. Greatly composed picture.

Hello Nap, it is a subject which lends itself to much graphic interpretation, I like this a little unreal image, this iconography formed by the rays of lights confers on the image an extra brightness, these coppered reflections form a super graphics which reflects on the formed scratches share sand, I am subjugated, it is harshly well made, in a friendly way

Hi, Nap. A nice sunset wit a very good foreground with the ripples on the beach. The silhouetted hill in the background provides a nice contrast with the setting sun.

Nice, I like this place, I'm been here just one time and I like it, I would like to visit the pinacate Desert there are a hot spring in the death volcano. But this is a exelent work
The sunrise the wkes in the wet sand and the water makes an exelent compsotion.

Hi Nap, spectacular effect given by the sand ripples in foreground, under this impressive sunset. The composition of the sillouettes is perfect. I loved the sea of Cortez, but I didn't reach so far in the North, as mostly I stayed in Bahia de La Concepcion. Very well done here!

A very clear sharp nice warm colortoned sunset Nap, I like this textured sand in the foreground a lot even there the light is reflected, excellent.

It really is a beautiful sight. I love how you managed to include the reflection in the water and the lovely glow it produces. The light on the rippled sand is particularly attractive.

Hi Nap -gorgeous sunset, of course the patterns in the sand really steal the show, excellent timing, the sky looks darker than its reflection, did you use a graduated filter?

Ah stunning.

I knew I was setting myself up for trouble when I posted my own sunset - this is unbeatable. The colours, the reflection, and especially the contours of the sand in the foreground ... it's a fantastic shot.

wonderful shot! The foreground (I don't know the right term of that thing made of sand ;)) is absolutely wonderful, I like how it is enlightened by the sun and surrounded by the water that reflects the sky... Wonderful!

Hey Nap,
One of the best sunsets here in TE! Fantastic composition, image quality is superb, sharpness from foreground way to the end is perfect! What could be interpreted is the squeamish looking formation seen at the foreground looking like 'sea-eels' crawling above the surface...yet the picturesque landscape and sunset captures me the most!

Thanks a lot for sharing with us this wonderful moment. You've got a lot of details in this picture. The foreground and the curves are very nice.

I like the sky too, but it's sad you didn't catch more clouds.
