Photographer’s Note
Mexicans use colour in ways that Canadians wouldn't dare to do, or might not even think of doing. It's everywhere: rich, saturated, tasty.
This is an ordinary house in an ordinary neighbourhood. At the same time, to my eye, it's a confection, a piece of art, a delicious assault on the senses.
This is a big part of what I miss about Mexico -- to simply be walking down a street and suddenly be struck dumb by the colour of a house.
(This particular photo is titled in honour not only of the principal colour, but also one of my favourite X-Files episodes, Pusher, which has nothing to do with drugs, by the way, but in which the words "cerulean blue" have special significance.)

Magical color! I like your recent series of geometrical shapes of colorful buildings. Abstract yet objective.
