Tenemos almejas frescas y ahumadas! We have fresh clam (raw clam cocktail) and smoked clam (sort of soup served in a large foam cup)! That is what he said. I tried both and they are excellent. This is a charming little stand along the route down to Baja, Mexico. He had been doing this for 15 years he said. It is delightful to see how he works. His hands are very fast and move with surgical precision & with artworks results. He is always smiling and genuine and nice person. He converts an old refrigerator into a wood smoke oven for his clam. It looks very exotic. I downloaded the pictures in my Laptop and shown them to him. He was pleasantly surprised. I did mail him this picture in large format. I hope you enjoy it.
