Photographer’s Note
There is a little story behind this photo. Im Mexico I constantly battled with condensation on my 300D. The best storage temp would be in our air conditioned room. But try and catch a decisive shot if you have to wait 4.5 minutes for the lens to clear. I never opened my camera sensor cavity outside to protect the internal parts from humidity. On this evening while shooting sunsets. I had to take my zoom off and catch the sky colors in this scene. I have to confess I thought I ruined the photo wirh moisture on the sensor. The scene looked like it was taken in foggy weather though in a sunset setting. I am one for keeping posting nice and sharp so if you want to the other see the workshop. Enjoy.

Hey Paul;
Lovely shot! Surprised your up so early this morning... it's got to be 5am?? Hahahaha...
I know EXACTLY what you mean about the humidity. With the humidity in Singapore being somewhere in 90% range... I have to deal with it everytime I take out my camera. I normally place my camera's and lenses into a ziplock bag (or similar) with small holes in the bag, where the equipment can slowly adjust to climate change...
Great colors and details you captured here Paul, great work as always...
Warmest regards,
- Dan

Your sharp version is absolutely the best. Thanks for the description and the possibilty to compare. I usually do not suffer from this problem, but I have a few that I could use your technique to remedy.

Great shot and great story too! I really like the colours, and the presence of the people on the beach that give this scene life. Your story about the camera is nice to hear too, as well as the workshop solution. Wonderful work Paul!

Well you certainly brought it back nicely. Of the two, this is decidedly the best. I love how the sand glows. It reminds me of another sunset when I was in Vancouver...

Hey Paul. I must say that I am impressed with the way you saved this shot and restored clarity in the process. If it weren't for your note we'd never know. My favorite part is the high sharpness on the water. Nicely done Paul!

Hi Paul,
It is such a lovely sunset and I must say the PP is very well done. I had the same problem in one of my post but decided to leave the mist where it is. This shot on the other hand looks better without it. There are great colours and the people makes it most relaxing. Excellent shot!! Regards.

Hi Paul,
A masterful sunset shot. You have perfectly captured not only the varied hues in the sky, but the incredible feflection on the wet sand with silhouetted figures. I also like how the neck of land in the distance curves away to the left, giving both balance and perspective. This just first class work. Well done, my friend. An enjoyable note too.

Of course this is by far the best. The original as well as being misted was also a little dark, so you have remedied that too. The colours are superb and the tiny figures add interest. Well done

Hi Paul - beautiful sunset, I know the AC dilemma and lens fog, though in my experience 1 minute wait is sufficient, anyway a fine compo, magnificent busy sky and fab colours.

beatiful scene, and smart PP recovery. I personally find myself is the same type - keep only sharp and clear photo. I can not stand blurry photos. Your post process faithfully kept and enhanced the original color. Also removed the foggy and blurry mask.
Great work!
