Photographer’s Note

This photograph "stolen" was taken with deepest of Chiapas or the female condition somewhat leaves something to be desired. Chiapas is a mountainous and green area located mainly on the central high plateau of the Sierra Madre LED On, in the north of the Usumacinta river. It reigns there a wet tropical climate supporting the virgin forest at low altitude, yielding the place to a sparser vegetation when altitude is gained. The economy of Chiapas is primarily agricultural; it is one of the poorest areas of Mexico. Pushed by the poverty and the injustice of their condition, the Indians revolted in 1994. Repression was brutal. Calms seem returned, but the area is not regarded as sure. Today, of many voices rise to ask more rights for the Indian people.

Dominique, a nice composition which potrays the surrounding and the liing conditions of the local. The tone of green is amazing. IMHO I believe the sky is a bit overexposed. And I believe that it suffered a bit from the scan as well. A very informative note. Bala

Une adroite composition en plongée qui combine joliment les 2 personnages au superbe panorama
Dommage pour les pieds coupés et la partie légèrement surexposée à l'arrière

La vue "volée" est très en relation avec la note et effectivement devant la tache importante et sa difficulté symbolisées par la pente et la Bananeraie, on a ces deux femmes qui courbent l'échine.
La composition est parlante de par son cadrage et sa qualité.
Belle scene bien prise.
