Photographer’s Note

Xochimilco, near Mexico city, looks like a floating village. There are canals bordered by tall cypress trees, and on these colorful barges sail all day long with tourists and locals. Many hire mariachis ( Singers and musicians ) during the ride.

Your photo is very original and the colors are simply gorgeous!
Very good composition with that small boat moving versus the other boats being parked!

Hi Izzet, I really like this composition with the crossing diagonal lines formed by the both accentuated by the different alingment of the pole held by the man.
The bold colours are also well contrasted against the dark green water which has enough texture to provide interest without being distracting.
In all, an intirguing picture and very satisfying and attractive image.

Izzet, voilà, une image vraiment très bien composée.. Dés le "thumbnail" on se rend compte de la valeur de l'image.. une belle diagonale, des couleurs splendides.. et un point de vue exceptionnel. simple et beau.. bravo..
et je ne parle pas des couleurs..!!!

The diagonal composition and the colorful triangels gives a strong graphical impact in this. Also note how the crossing diagonal, the pole, crosses the boat where the man is bringing attention to him.

Salut Izzet. Superbe diagonale, très puissante grâce au plan plutôt rapproché. Les couleurs assez denses renforcent encore le jeu de lignes, surtout avec des formes aussi simples. Une superbe image très bien composée.

Once again a picture from a country that i visited too ... not this city but eastern coast. Terrific contrasts here, your frame is excellent with its blue color to fit with the inside of the picture, so nice for my eyes.
Eyes catching and geometrical, i like that.

Je viens de tomber sur cette tres belle photo qui etait exhibee en premiere page, Izzet. Compo parfaite avec de tres belles couleurs. je vois que tu t'es servi d'un warming filter 81a, n'est-ce pas? Ces jours-ci on passerait tout en software... Vraiment tres beau ca.
