Panorama view from the Hotel Baikal, Acapulco

Acapulco de Juarez is a major port and fashionable resort city, known for beaches and water sports. Many consider it to be one of the best harbours on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The atmosphere is a little bit like the Seventies, when artist like John Wayne are visiting the Acapulco.

Hello Achim,
A fine composition with a wonderful depth to it. I like the soft light and colours and the lovely cloud reflections in the pool. Excellent sharpness throughout.

This one is a splendid sight on Acapulco from the high POV of the hotel.
I like the composition with the magnificent terrace and the water in foreground, the long beach flanked by tall buildings, the landscape with the hills in background, and the beautiful complement of the sky and the clouds.

Hi Achim,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is leading my eyes toward the hotels on the other side of the bay which is giving depth to the tropical scenery. The light of the afternoon has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Waw! This is a fantastic sight! fine and informative. I have never seen Acapulco from this pov and it really gives a good idea of how is the place. A smart idea to set this fine gatzebo in fg with its lovely round pool. It is at the same time a fine subject and a way to create an incredibly great sense of depth.

The repeating curving lines contribute strongly to the impact of the composition!
