Photographer’s Note
When visiting this Pre-Columbian Maya walled city, you can access a small beach. In Maya, Tulum means 'wall'.
Lors de la visite de la ville fortifiée de Tulum où sont situées les ruines de l'ancienne civilisation maya, il est possible de descendre à la plage pour se baigner. En Maya, Tulum signifie 'mur'.

Hello Michelle,
Almost exactly a year before you in late June I was in Tulum, and indeed saw this very same view. What a 'Suburb of Paradise!' This image is beautiful, well composed, and features the beautiful colors of the Yucatan shore. It deserves to be presented in much larger format. Currently it measures 536x360 pixels and has a file size of 223 KB. You could have presented it as 800x537 pixels and a file size of 300 KB. You might have to adjust the quality level somewhat to achieve the maximum allowed specs.
Warm regards from Virginia.
