A good portion of the Palace structure to the west has collapsed. This is the south face, with a low platform to level access. In front, there is a chultun for storing rain water, and in fact around the site, there was evidence of quite a few chultunes. (I made a point of following a path to the south where evidence of human habitation was extended.) The decoration of the frieze is mosaic, and the whole dates from the late classic era. Very few tourists come here and the site is quiet.
