Photographer's Note

To the north of the church, also facing west, is the chapel, intended more for private worship. It is a somewhat unique structure in that its left wall appears to incorporate what would have been the fašade of an earlier church, complete with bell tower and bells. Residential accommodation for monks was completed in 1583 CE, albeit their numbers would have been few.
