Photographer's Note

Structure CA8 known as the Palace of the Devil is adjacent to the Ch'ich Palace in the southeast corner of the Southeast Plaza. It is oriented in a west to east direction with its facade looking north. At one time, there were three rooms, one each in the front, rear and to the east side. This anthropomorphic figure is all that remains and features two holes drilled down in the top of the head. It would date from the Puuc era i.e. 750 to 1050.
