Photographer’s Note
once in a while I feel compelled to post something off the wall - meaning bizarre, conspicuously or grossly unconventional or unusual. the first manifestation of this compulsion is here, and this time a resort in Cancun, Mexico offered a combination of lines and angles that I could not resist. in reality this is a part of a suspended walkway between two buildings, but with a little tilt (of course) this looks, at least to me, very urban and very futuristic.

Hello christine,
Bravo.
cordialement.

Hello Kristine! Oh I am always a little "off the wall" so this elegant tilt suits my wonderful summer mood that hopefully lasts forever, at least until the next thunderstorm takes it away. Love your flip to the side which makes it unusual indeed. Amazing what it can do. The colors are great, a beautiful deep blue with the sand colors inbetween. Great graphical work ... Barbara.

Hi Kristine,
Nice work, we spend time to try to understand the photo (we are helped by the right border) but finally, it is not so important. The best is to enjoy it as it is like an abstract painting.
The composition is very balanced between the colors and the volumes.
I will wait for the n°3 of the serie.
Yves.

Hi Kristine,
Colourful capture. The tilt is an excellent idea. I find it makes you lose your sense of what's up & down.
Great off the wall..

Ah!
it had been a long time since we hadn't had the urban-graphic-Kristine. And she's back with a vengeance! Tilt, colors, lines everywhere...I'm all for it, especially with a result like this! Bring'em on!
Best,
Philippe

Kristine,
Now and again, when I post an image along the lines of, say, a rock in a pool - and lets face it, I'm prone to doing that - I might well receive the comment "it's very Zen" - when, to me at least, what is meant is "it's very relaxing".
This, on the other hand, this is a Zen image! My mind looks at it, tries to make sense of it, can't make sense of it, and throws the metaphorical toys out of the pram.
So, where am I now, grinning like an infant, like a Buddha, knowing nothing but shapes and colours.

Hi Kristine,
An extremely well composed cubistic picture, a well performed creation of modern art. Beautiful and very harmonic colours. Outstanding and certainly high above TE average!
Kind regards

Hi Kristine, I love the title of this photo, great blocks of colours, shapes and symmetry. Something a little different. Good use of the tilt too. Best regards, Lisa.

Hi, Kristine -
I should have known it was yours from the thumbnail; it has that "Kristine tilt" to it! This one works as a pure abstract, both in shape and in color. Nice spotting!

Hi Kristine,
Very strong visual impact and graphically very appealing image with very rich colors and interlayer of shapes. I like the illusion of depth and space. One of the better abstract image I've seen in a Great texture of the walls. Great observation and well presented. My complements.

Hi Kristine
I just love the graphics and colours here. You composed with the angles brilliantly. This is the sort of photo which could go on someones' wall at home. As an anecdote, Michael Jacksons Off the Wall was the first record I ever bought myself.

Hey Kristine!
Well done, here! A great work on graphism, once more, but, with a lot of freedom compared to what you provide usually. The tilt is clever because it confuses the mind, but to my point of view, is not the main thing to be praised here. You made a remarkable work on colors saturation and on textures; and this give a lot of mood to the shot. A strong visual impact, hypnotic, and kind of trompe l'oeil. Bravo!

Hi Kristine,
Very nice that one, the intrinsicated shapes and the tonal differences in the blues give it a somewhat of Vasarely
Have a nice day JY

Hello Kristine -
Off the wall? Yes! What is up? What is down? It confuses the senses. And it works! The colors, IMO, add to the mental confusion. I like it! Well done!
Thank you for sharing.

Bonjour Kristine,
I like this fantastic composition made of lines and colors as a painting. There is many relief thanks to the alternation of the clear and dark zones.
You magnificently positioned your camera to obtain a perfectly harmonious result.
Great, Brava!

I get dizzy easily so this one is more askew that my taste would pick but that aside it is crisp and colorful.

Hello Kristine
A rarity in your gallery...urban art. Quite simple it looks, but the composition with the idea of a tilt really works here. Without the tilt, I doubt. Shades of blue and contrast with yellow...the 'windows' creating breathing spaces..very well conceived and taken shot. Fine work

Hi Kristine,
this could be easily on the wall of my room. Fantastic play with the blue colors, the diagonal lines and the textures on the wall...or ceiling? :) There is no position reference in the picture and that's what makes this even more abstract and interesting. Well done, my friend!
