Photographer’s Note
Sunday as in break from work, obligations, schedules and reports. Sunday as in break from morning paper, caffè latte, lunch, dinner and vegetables. Sunday as in break from constantly searching for the best point of view, checking histograms and worrying about the white balance. Sunday as in day when you can have a cake before your salad, when you don't have to pay for your margarita, and when that perfect moment of blissful "i don't have to do anything" goes on for hours.
about the photo: one of the dozen resorts on the Mexican Riviera by the Caribbean Sea. unusual vacation week for me - no canyon climbing, no trying to drag myself out of bed at 4AM to go look for sunrise photos. but I still could not resist taking my camera on few occasions.

Hey kristine, that's fabulously blue and so pleasing to the senses by the way it has been composed. The action has been captured at the right moment. Lovely overall balance and superb frame

Hello Kristine,
Not nice you are posting this photo: I am still at work in this Friday and I have still 1 week to wait before taking 2 weeks of hollidays in Iceland.
Now it is clear I do not want to work more today, I can enjoy this blue mood under sunny light.
Very good composition with the 2 legs telling the joy.
Yves.

Hi Kristine,
nice idea. I like the diagonal line of semicolumns and the feet coming out from water. Beautiful colors.

Hi Kristine,
there's definitely a Sunday feel to your picture. This bright blue kinda cheers me up because the weather turned to sh** over here in France and it looks as if we're in for a cloudy weekend. Nice lead-in line with those buoys to finish up on those weirdly-positioned feet. Works for me.
So long,
Philippe

Hello Kristine! Yes this feels like "off work" for sure and I want to follow these feet myself. Seems like so much fun to dive into le grand bleu. THIS photo is loaded with summer like thousands and thousands or even millions have it right now, either getting prepared or are in the middle of their well deserved summer vacation. Not me, I am back to work ... but it is not a hidden secret, I could leave right now, hanging at a swimming pool like this one drinking margaritas :))) Very nice work, totally held in vacation blue ... Love it. Barbarrrrra.

Kristine,
Having just look at our sunrise at Bryce, they is totally the opposit, So blue the only warm colors come for the two feet. It look rather refreshing on a hot July Day, very inviting. the water pattern is wonderful, the blue collumn forming a diagonal line leading to the diver and make a good composition. Thanks

hello Kristine
a stunning evocative composition that sums up the special atmosphere of sundays. It reminds me of Avedon's work and I really appreciate the colors and the textures.
Congratulations

Hi Kristine.
Nice simmetry in the swimming pool only broken by the swimmer, a good way to break the composition.
Well done!

Good Morning Kristine
Again, another beautiful and technically sound photo from your gallery.
Simplicity is the key here.
Simple but eyepleasing, with creative compositioning, with a touch of realism with the wet feet dangling.
Great photo

Hi Kristine, I've been meaning to comment on this great shot for a while now. It makes me smile and think of Sundays spent here in Aus as a child. You've shown great patience to capture the handstander, the water is beautiful and the symmetry of the posts superbly composed. And the bonus is you didn;t have to wake up at 4am to get this million dollar shot. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend, Lisa.
