The musician was the last of the group to make his way down from the top. I noted an exchange of comments among them about the performance, and then they lined up around the base so I could take a group photograph. I thanked them for their presentation looking unruffled in their colourful outfits.
I understand that the Maya greet each other with the phrase, "I am you, and you are me." The response is identical, "I am you, and you are me." The words suggest to me the commonality of our lives on this earth, what we share with each other, not having asked to be born.

Hi Ken. Pity that the Conquistadors and most of their descendants never subscribed to that maxim. The Indios have been done by badly and it continues to this day. Finally the colourful birds have landed and we can admire their plumage. Regards. Klaudio.
