Structure 5 is considered a part of the Paintings Group (of Group D) and is located about 50 metres northeast of Structure 4. There is a staircase in front, in good condition, but the structure has lost its vault, over the years. Sections of the structure show characteristics of the Teotihuacan slope and slab construction. It would have been decorated with painted stucco. While apparently having been built during the classic period, there are indications of some post-classic amendment.
