Photographer’s Note

This was took it in Chetumal Quintana Roo like four hours from Can cun. The only problm was the sky so withe with many clouds and we can not be able to see the deep blue until afternoon, so I try to change something the contast and the brigth, but was not enogh. However, still I thik this is beauty.
Talking more about this place; this city is the capital of the sate and have a border with Belize. Amazing and beautiful place. In fact this is not an ocean this is a lagoon close to the ocean in fact I upload this laggon the mane is "BAKALAR" and the water is sweet not salty. I was not able to go inside of this place beacuse this is a private property but still you can enjoy it this view and sigth for being in a place like this resting, in stead of working, like the mayority of us. I hope soon I can take my vacations.

Good job on editing this Elias, it looks very nice. The subject is very interesting in that it is a seldom seen type of architecture, and the reflection in the lagoon balances the composition nicely. Good post.

Nice one. Good reflections, nice unique looking structure. But I think the horizon is too overexposed. It could have been visible .But I understand the situation you have given in the note.

Muy bonita composicion con buen resultado. Es una lastima que el dia estaba nublado pero aun asi la foto esta muy buena. El tipo de arquitectura que muestras es muy interesante y unico de los tropicos. La refleccion en el agua tambien se ve bien. Buen trabajo :-)

Olá Elias, I like the warm atmosphere here and even the soft blue tones of the overexposed background, don't bother me much. This is almost a nice minimalist shot with a strong contrast with the interesting shape of that attractive resting area, together with the nice reflections, over the waters of this lagoon. Although the quality is not the best, as mentioned in the note, the result is good enough - what stands out as a disturbing thing, is the tiltness of the horizon. You should try to straighten up that.
It seems a great place for holidays.

Buena composición, con un buen encuadre también, de esta estructura sobre la laguna, con bellos reflejos que le dan un buen grafismo. El color blanco del cielo, que se confunde con el agua borrando la línea del horizonte, da una sensación de que el conjunto flota. Le da un toque un poco surrealista.

What a fabulous place this must be... I'd never tell this was a private lagoon. That must be an excellent place to relax :)
The photo’s POV is good, but I think a horizontal orientation would be a bit more suited… You could then take advantage of the pathway to give a more “dramatic” effect to the house. Also, the sea level is a bit tilted, but that can be easily solved with a bit of PP.

Ahí está el maravilloso color del mar del Caribe, con un bonito reflejo en el agua! Una sensilla pero muy bonita composición que me hace extrañar a México! Buen trabajo!
