Waterfall not far from Palenque. There is a trail that leads along the ledge behind the cascade - be prepared to get wet because there is no way of escaping spray and mist. But great refreshment at the same time.

Hi Maja,

nice shot...I have also posted a pic from Misol-Ha...from behind! anyhow this waterfall is an execellent refreshing stop travelling from San Cristobal down to the wet Palenque area!

Hey Maja,

This is VERY nice photo, Why only two points so far? Perhaps it lacks some light. Unfortunately, from the point you were in, it is difficult to get it as there are lots of trees and a mountain behind (I have been there twice :)). However, I think that your composition deserves much more than that. Here my contribution. I like very much your contribution to TE, where everybody seems to be very concerned about points-fishing and forget the original aim of this site.
