This fortress was built from 1771 to 1801 to defend Campeche from pirate attacks. It is located in the Buena Vista hill and occupies a surface area of 3858 square meters.
Now houses the Maya Art Museum.

mi piace questo particolare, un bel dettaglio che ci fa capire bene il funzionamento dell'ingresso al forte, sembra davvero imponente, immagino il timore che incuteva quando fu costruito.

Really love this, your chosen point of view gets so much architectural detail in, the entrance, the strong walls, drawbridge, the turret and of course those super strong walls. Really perfect vantage point to take this from.

This is real a fortress as formerly with drawbridge, corner tower and very strong walls.
Sharpness and clarity are pleasant to look at.
I like the colours and the beautiful arches in foreground.
Nice composition, excellent presentation.
