Photographer's Note
Just north of Puerto Vallarta is Bucerias... It is within the area of expansion of PV but you can still see people trying to live the old way in the midst of all the modern buildup.

Hello Ronald and welcome to TE. This is a super shot with very good timing to capture the net with pin-point precision and under good light conditions. I love the misty hazy light on the crashing waves and the man standing in the breakers adds further human interest. I can see from your note why you have the built up background, personally, I think the shot would be stronger of you cropped it along the top of the tree line. Lovely shot though. Best regards rosemary

Wonderful capture! It has beautiful colors and great clarity. The PV and aspect ratio you selected is superb. The DOF is great and it has good perspective. Bravo!!

bonjour,
j'aime beaucoup l'effet du lancement du filet..
j'aurais peut-etre recadrer la photo pour ne laisser que le filet, le pecheur et la mer... (je tenterai un WS tout à l'heure)
belle prise

hi ronald
welcome on TE.
decisive moment captured, nice sharpness, good framing, I only would remove the top of the picture (see Véronique's WS) to stay in the old mood.

hi ronald
welcome to TE
A nice shot taken against the light, affording a perfect definition of the net
Shot at the right instant
All the interest of this image lies in its bottom part and as far as I'm concerned I think that the upper part with the building in the haze is useless and even spoils a bit the general visual impact of the picture
I think that I'd have cropped most of the upper part, just below the trees
Only my personal taste of course, Ronald
Best regards, enjoy your WE

This is a wonderful moment captured at just in time. I agree with the friends saying that it would be better if cropped, but I can understand also why you included the living area in the bg. Congrats.

Ronald
Un geste saisi au bon moment et une superbe atmosphère créée par ce mélange de brume et de soleil. Le recadrage de Véronique me plait beaucoup.
Amicalement
JJ
