[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A view across the bridge of San Sebastian del Oeste. This former silver and gold-mining town, nestled high in the Sierra Madre mountains, was once home to over 30,000 people. It now has a population of less than 1,000 consisting mostly of ranchers, loggers and coffee and agave growers. The town has retained its traditional look and if it wasn't for the power lines and automobiles you could imagine yourself in another era. There is a lookout (La Bufa) just above the town where, on a clear day, you can see Puerto Vallarta and the Pacific ocean.

Hi Dave,

you have a lovely lead in line with the cobbled road and some interesting features in the shot like the horse tethered to the telegraph pole and the lady with the umberella which is obviously not used to keep the rain off! The tree covered mountains look great and backed by the lovely blue sky. I think the only tweek it needs is on the levels and perhaps a little sharpening too. You're a lucky man splitting your life between two beautiful parts of the America's.

Regards

Stephen

I really like the small town feel of this shot especially with the added touch of the person with the umbrella. I can feel the heat and sun.
