Day 46: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

My Mexico-without-a-map got me to city of Puerto Vallarta. I have to say it was my favourite city on the east coast of Mexico. It was surrounded by really beautiful scenery and it was also relatively small and had a nice artsy feeling.

Most photographers I know would not get any inspiration on crowded beaches – including me. However, as I was walking near the beach I noticed this empty bar building that had an open window. I decided to use it as a frame and I quite like the end result.

Bonjour Marko,
A bar with a view? Or A view on a world? Very, very impressive image!
In a way, it looks like we are in the dark movieroom and look at the bright joyful screen, just wonderful feeling.
Everything is working in this panorama-ish image.
It could make a wonderfull wall poster I guess...
Bravo for the lovely work and the intelligent point of view.

Amicalement - Viviane

Hi Marko excellent shot! Amazing the point and good your picture with the important frame! and the very good chromatic and in detail presence! The clouds and the sea have a good impression in the composition!

Hi Marko,
this is a quite turistic photo, ideal for a catalogue of a trevel agency, but has a lot more than that: a good composition, amazing colours and kind of humorous details.
Nice one, TFS

Hello Marko,

Wonderful capture from inside while dark bands are creating a panoramic effect. I like bush umbrellas and of course splendid blue tones of sea and cloudy sky. A great works, congratulations.

Best Regards,

Hello Marko
This is a terrific 'letter box' view. The dark surround serves to make the colours really glow, and there is plenty of interest in the (wonderfully sharp) details of the beach scene.
Brilliant!!
Best wishes....Maggie

Hi Marko,
The artsy feeling of the town rubbed off onto you.....this composition, utilising the window as your frame has an artsy feel to it too. The dull, dark wood of the window hepls to emphasise the wonderful array of colours on the beach, and the panaramic format just adds additional impact to the shot. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Marko,
The dark frame of the window is a perfect contrast to the bright busy beach scene outside. Great vibrant colours and the fan is a nice bonus. Well seen!

A great shot that manages to be funny without being too artificial, and that doesn't happen a lot. The beach looks poster perfect. Still, I am wondering whether I would have cropped a bit off the frame, especially at the bottom...

Hi Marko
Extraordinary capture you make. The colours are incredible, the framing is brilliant and i like very much the horizon that hidded and presonted behind the 'grass made' umbrellas. Very well done. TFS

Great idea for a photograph and perfectly captured. I love seeing the fan on the ceiling. The exposure is spot on. You have framed the ocean and the people nicely with the panoramic window. Well done.

Ryan
