[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Volcan de Colima left (extinct) and Volcan de Fuego right (active and smoking) on the limit of the Jalisco and Colima States in Mexico. Those vulcanoes are midway between the city of Guadalajara in Jalisco and the Pacific Ocean. This panorama was made originaly from five pictures but croped to fit the site requirements so it could be made from three. I used the Canon Photo Stitch software to assemble and then Photoshop to refine the transitions in the color of the sky. The Canon Photo stitch is like magic, but you should adjust some details when you have so different exposure readings, due to rotational picture taking that starts near to the sun and finishes far from it or viceversa. Then when the software assemble the pictures you notice the stripe between two pictures so you may want to correct it in photoshop. If all the pictures involved were to be taken i.e. with the sun on your back, the Photostitch works flawless and you may not need any further adjust in Photoshop.
