[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The two old vaqueros (cowboys) were sitting on the bench of a park in a village outside N.Vallarta. They looked tired but relaxed. When Italked to them, Irealized one of them was deaf..
I treated the shot, turned it to sepia and added an effect for the framing , to give a vintage photo appearance

Superb portrait.Good work.

Hi Savas, nice idea to change colour to sepia for realization of vintage shot. Good framing as well and including overall composition. Well done.

Hi Savas,
I really like the mood from this photo. It is a great portrait and the sepia works well to convey that old world feeling.

Wanda

jasu savas,
i find this theme fascinating, and the idea to make the image look older with applying this sepia was excellent; i just dont fancy much that "edges ageing" thing which -imo-was too much;
otherwise - everything is fine, and the men seem to be created to be your models;

Good comp and like the b&w.
Well done.

Hi Savas,
Though some may criticise the PP you have done, I find it truly fascinating. Excellent conversion and combined with framing, this could well be from the museum archives.

Hi Savas,

Oh yes, I love this one. I was in Mexico about 10 years ago. I didn't have a digital camera back then and I have just a few good scans, so not much postings from my side on Mexico. The more a reason to return I'd say!
The sepia works very well here. I'm not a big sepia fan. Moreover, I'm not a sepia fan at all. I'm more into the duotones and quadtones that are a bit more contrasty. But it really works here. Nice shot!

Dennis

Bonjour Savas,

J'aime beaucoup le traitement de cette photo, sa brodure, qui en renforce l'aspect vieillot. Belle ambiance.
