Day 43: Mazatlán, Mexico
After seeing US I moved down to Mexico. I’ve been there before but this time my plan was to travel on the west coast to Guatemala (previously I visited east coast and inland). I crossed the border on Nogales and stayed one night in Hermosillo and Guaymas before getting to Mazatlán.
It was a bit difficult to get used to travel by public transportation. Mostly because I was so used to having a car in the States and all the freedom it brought. Never mind, bus travel beats car in many other ways – at least you get to meet many great people and Mexican buses are top notch quality anyways. My rambling around in Mexico was slightly different than in the States - I didn’t have a map nor guidebook – my goal was to get to Guatemala and stop in places that I felt had something to give. Not the most organised or cheapest way to travel but I loved it.
This was probably the most amazing sunset during my whole trip – taken in the old town of Mazatlán.

Dia 43: Mazatlan, Mexico

What a beauty, very good gradient colors, and perfectly sharp palm tree shadow.

The colors here are absolutely gorgeous. You really captured this sunset well. I like how silhouetted the palm tree and the people in a very lovely composition. Vertical was great choice.
