Parasailing operators use Mazatlan's beaches to launch tourists into the sky. Motorboats tow the parasailers on birds-eye-view rides that follow the coastline. The rides seem to last about five minutes and cost about 250 pesos. It's cool to watch how the skilled motorboaters guide the parasailers back to earth, hovering them over sunbathers before setting them back down on landing zones in the sand and waves.
