Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken during the "San Lorenzo" festival. This is one of the most popular religious festivals in Juarez, and it starts the night of August the 9th. It's a big thing, and a lot of people goes to the church, and dances to San Lorenzo (they are called "Matachines"). I'll post a photo of a Matachin later.
Also, there are a lot of places selling food, typical food. This lady was preparing "gorditas" which we had for dinner, by the way.
Hope you like it

Hi Alex
The colours are rich in this shot - yellows and oranges create a sense of heat and night-action ... but your subject is a little blurred and the POV could be better.

Hi Alex!
Perhaps it's bad taste, but I don't mind at all (well, almost :) the so-so quality of that portraiture. The latter is so convincing! And the colors convey that sweaty atmosphere best they could! It's blurred, but the wet brows, the half empty glasses, and all the festival it seems perspires in the shot!
Great!

Hi Alex, I think the technically indifferent quality of the photograph lends itself perfectly to the hot, sweaty crowded nature of these events. The warm temperature of the artificial lighting also complements the subject very well (but at first I thought the title was being a little naughty about the señora and perhaps an unseen friend. . .). Very nice. Stephen
