Puro Sabor de Juarez Photo

Photographer’s Note

'Puro Sabor de Juarez' translates from Spanish to English, as 'Pure flavour of Juarez' The big guitar caught my eye in this Juarez street scene. The mini flags sport the colours of the Mexican flag. (red, white, & green).

Juarez is across the Rio Grande River, from El Paso, in Texas, & well worth a daylight hours visit, excercising some caution. From Wikitravel:

"Juarez is unlike many border towns in that it is a major city with over a million inhabitants. However, most foreign tourists will still enjoy the same elements of stereotypical Mexican culture that they do in other border towns such as Nogales, Tijuana, and Nuevo Laredo.

Enjoy a drink at a patio cafe with some chips and salsa at reasonable prices.
Shop the markets for typical Mexican wares.
Attend a bullfight at the Plaza de Toros when in season."

The pink color of the restaurant stands out which is an asset to the composition. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the decoration of the restaurant. The subject is well framed. The intensity of the light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Okay, so you covered Mexico too so, your North America trip is well taken care of. Wow, I have not not yet been to Mexico, even thought it only a few hours drive away from me, I should try to make it soon. This one does show a very good essence of it, as I can see driving through some of the area that are predominantly Mexicans. Very nice colors, love the clear blue sky as I imagine it would be. Je dois t'avouer que je n'aime pas trop ce cadrage qui coup le bas des immeubles. J'aurais tenté un assemblage vertical de deux photos.
