Juarez Church Photo

Photographer’s Note

Juarez Church is just south of the border, across the Rio Grande, from El Paso, Texas. This is a typical Spanish style church, in the backstreets of Juarez. It's safe enough in broad daylight, but there are more murders here, than many US cities. I returned to El Paso across the 70c toll bridge by dark. Lately, the situqation has deteriorated, probably due to the Global Economic Crisis.

Superb architectural photo. The three colours of the composition provide a harmonic atmosphere to the photo (the blue one, the white and reddish tint). The details are very beautiful, the optic angle imposing and spectacular. Have a nice day!

Olá Chris, wonderful close approach looking upwards. The tight crop is superb with everything on the right place and the exposure on the white walls is perfect. Somehow I don't even need to see a view of the whole facade - the best details are all here.

Beautiful architecture, I like it but never has been there, Chris - but I think you made a long and interesting trip to the USA and Mexico, wow, I'm realy a little jealous.
And guess where I'm going again this year - right - Thailand - one more time ;-)
We just love that country - and I'm celebrating my 40th birthday in Bangkok now - with a nice dinner-cruise on the Chao-Praya ;-)
