Tarahumara Lands Photo

Photographer’s Note

This beautiful landscape is home to the Tarahumara, one of the least assimilated indigenous groups in North America. (They managed to elude the Spanish by hiding out in these labyrinthine canyons.) They are legendary for their endurance and can carry heavy loads up and down these steep canyon walls. There are actually two Tarahumara homesteads perched on the ridge in the foreground but you need the eyes of an eagle to see them.

a beautiful scenery with good composition and colors. I just try to a little bit enchance the clarity and tones. I hope to see those two Tarahumaras.

Very nice POV on this fabulous landscape . I like a lot these semi-arid mountains , with little touch of greenery . Beuatiful light , too . Your mexican gallery is very interesting . Thanks for the share

Hello Dave, it is good to see some shots from Mexico;I may be wrong but I don't often see shots from there.
It is an amazing landscape,it can't have been easy living there.
You must have been quite high up to achieve this PoV.
