Railyard Chico, a photo from Chihuahua, Northwest

Photographer's Note

This is a boy who was begging from the passengers as the Chihuahua al Pacifico train came through his town. I wonder about the life he has led. While his look to me is wary, he did not look unhappy or unhealthy. This child -- assuming he has survived -- would now be about 30 years old. I hope he is doing well.

This foto was originally shot on 35mm Tri-X. It was NOT at the railyard in Creel, but at another stop farther up the line, whose name I cannot find today. Perhaps it has been eliminated as a stop.

Note add value to this B/W image. Sharp and bright picture about a begger boy. The boy could not gain peoples' sympathy since he is not looking unhappy or unhealthy. Thank you.
