Continuing our trip to San Miguel de Allende, we drove to Zacatecas and searched for the Quinta Real, a great hotel built on the site of the first bullring in Mexico! The bull pens are now a bar, and the restaurant overlooks the bullring. Original seating for people watching the bullfights have lovely geranimums lining the seating area. The aquaduct runs behind the hotel and ends in a lovely park, with "dancing waters" (with nice classical music piped throughout the park) and Mimes and puppet shows.

The people of Zacatecas were very friendly, the roads leading to the town excellent and all in all, our road trip has been great!
