I like the composition, and in particular the fact that it is very clean, with straigh lines, and perfectly symmetric. I think that what is really missing is some presence on the bright pattern (a dog, a running bycicle, some human figure) to create a break in the symmetry and give the "fuel" to the picture. Otherwise I think you should crop a bit (perhaps one half ?) of the white part, which is a very "heavy" presence in the picture.
