Photographer’s Note
The bull was being attacked by Matador by small spears. The bull was continuously bleeding and repetitive assault makes it more weak and finally it surrenders to death.
I think this is something very similar to Roman Colosseum where people watch man fight with animals or men and make fun. Though we call our selves civilized, still the sense of wilderness is there in us.

What I find amazing in here is the apparent age of the person. All the rest, I am used to it and what we see is part of the local culture.

Hello Deepak,
An impressive scene you captured, great timing to position all the elements just right. There is a lot of POWER in this shot...and that imho is the essence of bull fighting, or any other violence consumed as entertainment, for that matter.

I do not like Corridas, for the same reason as you. But you caught the action perfectly in a very dynamic way

Hi Deepak,
I have the same thought as Stefano. But´s a hard thing to decide to give up a tradition..

If you do not like bull figthing why did you go to see that?
I'm Spanish and I never went to a similar event. The world is full of stereotypes, here in Spain is not different. But I consider it an ancestral tradition harder to erradicate.
After that, the photo is fantastic. You can capture the speed of the moment. There are amazing colors in the photo.
Regards, Roberto
