Photographer’s Note

A working place in the middle of the ocean. Its something that we cant see everyday, I hope you enjoy it, I liked the beautiful reflexions that sun falling gave to water.

Very interesting picture. I like the sun’s reflection because it gave a million of bright spots to the water. For the photo itself, I would have cropped that bit on the left and straighten the horizon, since it is tilted to the right. How come and where were you to take this photo? Do you work on the rigs? Myself, I am a Wellsite Geologist and I have been working offshore for more than 20 years. I have been in all types of offshore drilling facilities. Well done.

I like it:) What you could do is to cut off the part of the ship on the left. Also I wonder if this is ecologically clean production of oil? If this is this is just great!!!

Nice photo my friend...I think if you would crop the other object the solitude impact would have been stronger.
Even so....is a cool photo.

Hola Gisela,
Veo que es un tema que interesa a los geologos (antonio y yo ;-). La prospeccion geofisica en estas condiciones debe ser una experiencia muy intensa !
Me gustan tambien los reflejos del sol en el mar asi que la simetria de la plataforma... pero es una (pequena) lastima que se puede notar una parte de tu nave a la izquierda de la foto.
Te propongo un "crop" diferente en el workshop, con la plataforma menos al centro y una proporcion mas elevada de mar.
