This is the Blue temple (templo Azul) also called Edificio 3 (Edifice 3), in the archaeological site of El Tajin. The site was discovered in 1785, but the archaeological excavations began formally until 1943.

Llegué a visitar algunas de las ruinas de México (Chichén Itzá y Teotihuacán), pero veo que me faltan muchas más para conocer. La perspectiva está muy buena en la foto para mostrar la pirámide, y también los colores y nitidez! Excelente trabajo! Linda composición!

A fine monument, and again you chose the perfect point of view to give it height, scale and depth. All presented against a wonderful natural backdrop of the scattered cloud sky. Nice use of thirds between the sky, monument and foreground too.

We have seen tv programmes about the South American pyramids, yet I have not seen many posts on TE. This is a most interesting shot and you have provided us with fine details of the materials as well as the structure. The slightly angled shot gives a sense of depth.
The colours are well saturated and you have used a good composition.
It is a pity that no people were present, for they could have helped us assess the sense of scale.
My warm regards,

I always enjoy viewing your shots from Mexico, lots of interest :)
I don't know about you, but when I view these old ruins its amazing to think how it was built and its fun to imagine all the people in their everyday lives on site.
Your image is thought provoking, and thats a success.

what a fascinating structure, the architecture and the textures affected by the passage of time are captivating. I like the role you've assigned to the perspectives for guiding us and making the description of the ancient temple more effective. The light has an intriguing quality and a lovely effect on the colours. The clouds add interest and dynamism. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Fabulous old architecture, Pedro, a great structure built by the ancient Maya people.
Good angle collected on the corner POV chosen well.
Fine clarity and depth, green contrast black and blue.
Buen fin de semana,
