To 72 kilometers of Villahermosa (capital of Tabasco) in the municipality of Macuspana, is the State White Water Park. In order to arrive at this beautiful place, pertaining to ejido the Doves, it is necessary to turn aside 7 kilometers by highway of terracería in good conditions.

In White Water, the fall of waters and the whiteness of you are when sliding by stones, offer to the senses an exceptional beauty. In addition, we can bathe in pozas of water that has been formed with time. Before arriving at the most important spring a way is turned aside towards a perron of more than 200 steps than it leads to the entrance of an enormous grotto whose access measures approximately 25 m.s of wide by 20 m.s of stop; crossing the threshold is a great hall and to the bottom two entrances that are united more ahead.

The White Water cascades and grottos are considered like Protected Natural Area, is between the category of "State Park", which consists of a sufficiently great area that it counts materially on an ecosystem nonaltered by human activities, and in which the species animals and vegetables are of special scientific interest, educative and recreational. In 1987 the White Water Park is decreed, by its natural beauty and to present/display property left at death of vegetation of high forest perennifolia with high biodiversity, the decreed surface was of 2025 hectares.

Great mysteries and legend lock up between their ways the Izta grottos are some where the culture olmeca-zoque made different cults from the Gods.

It tells to a legend the fact that it was the weeping of a called princess Iztac-Ha, the one that gave origin to so wonderful place.

Ricardo,

Fica bem Ana:)

VEry interesting formation you have presented here. Looks like the sediments in the water have left behind a cascade of waterfall-like rock. Tfs, Jay
