Photographer’s Note
'La Otra Banda',a ten-minute walk from the Centro Histórico on the other side of the Querétaro River, is seldom visited by tourists. The neighbourhoods are poor but colourful and picturesque. Behind the walls and gates that run along the railway track are small gardens and patios, mostly neglected but sometimes cleverly decorated with bits of metal, brick or stone.
