Decades ago Tenayuca was just a small town with a large pyramid at its center, but now is just one small suburb of Mexico City, most temples or pyramids in ancient Mexico it where built in different stages at different times (somtimes being modified every generation or so), making the buildings "grow" as time passed by.
Here we see two different phases of the same pyramid, that at the end where covered by a newer and larger phase.
