Photographer's Note

This is the right side (to the east) portion of the frieze that was created above the medial molding. I have read suggestions that the architecture in Acanceh reflects a Teotihuacan style, originating in Central Mexico. I intend to upload photos of two more structures located in the centre of the town, and you may make your own judgement. The caretaker of these sites quickly led me north the few blocks north to the town plaza.
