Photographer's Note
The standard view of Guanajuato. Standard, I say, but still very stunning.
This is the view you get from El Pipila, the most famous overlook of the city and one of its main landmarks. The yellow church in the foreground is the Basilica Colegiata de Nuestra Senora de Guanajuato. Long name, beautiful church. The white building behind it is the University of Guanajuato. The church next to the University is the Templo de la Compania de Jesus. And the rest of those colorful, beautiful buildings nestled amongst the hills are the lovely town of Guanajuato.
This spot was about a minute's walk from my B&B. I woke up at about 7:30 am, about 20 minutes before sunrise. This was taken about 35 minutes after sunrise. Easiest sunrise I've ever had. :)

Hi Clark
You were brave to get up early but you were rewarded by this magnificent photo. Although it is flooded in the city, the church stands out splendidly with its orange color. Sharpness, colors and light are splendid and the depth of field too. Congratulations.
Bests regards.

Hi Clark,
This vertical panorama makes me want to go back to Mexico. Guanajato wasn't on our 'schedule' (haha) last time. Good light, fine contrasts and what a view!

Hi Clark,
Beautiful view, beautiful photo. Sharp image, pleasantly descriptive. Nice light from the low sun, agreeable saturated colours. Vertical framing works well. Interesting to learn a bit more about this town. A fine contribution.
