Photographer's Note
Paleta (ice cream) carts selling "nieves" ("snows," or shaved ices) are everywhere in Mexico. This is at Playa Tecolote, a mile-long, world-class stretch of sandy beach on the Bay of La Paz. It's about 20 miles out from the town of La Paz. Being on the bay, protected from the Sea of Cortez, the waves are mild and the swimming is pretty carefree. And when you get thirsty or hot or tired, you can step out of the water and get a raspa ("snow cone")!

Hello Russ,
This picture appears bright, sharp and colorful with good composition. I feel some cropping may do some justification to the picture. Thank you

Hi Russ,
Another beautiful picture from your favorite part of the world. The vendor adds both life and colours and he is very well positioned in the picture. A very attractive blue-green colour of the water. What is the temperature of the water here?
Kind regards
Gunnar
