Photographer’s Note
I've missed posting to TE for the summer season so I thought I would get a fresh start with the fall season, now in it's peak splendor.
This maple avenue on our farm is taken from the same spot as my Spring Brightness posted last winter.
This year the blaze of fall colours arrived later than usual which makes for a visually pleasing month of October.
This photo is two images stitched together vertically.Sharpening added along with 10% increase in contrast.

Beautiful colors, good composition and nice stitching job. The sharpness is poor - either it was windy or the sharpening job was not sufficient.

You did a nice job stitching the images, and makes for a very nice overall picture. I enjoy the colors and depth and mood of the image. I thought it could use a little sharpening and a little boost in the lower values that have little or no datail. I have posted a workshop, hope you like it.

Incredibly beautiful colors, Derek, I am really impressed.
And the comparison with the same trees in winter is interesting, thank you !

Nice to see you back Derek. I thought I had seen this place before, but I remmber as your "stairway to heaven" shot, it must be in the same area. You can't get a more colorful pic than this one, as nature can make it at its best.
The stitching job is perfect, I didn't notice it was a stitched image until I read your note. I would have chosen just to post the bottom pic because the patches of sky on the upper part are a little distracting. I was just thinking how it would look without this upper part.

Amazing colors and it's so interesting to have the previous photo to compare with it.
I feel you should have a Robert Frost poem to go with this.
NOTHING GOLD CAN STAY
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay

Nice to rediscover you Derek. What a beauty. The coours are very rich and the framing is perfect. We still have a lot of green around here.

Très belle scène d'automne, différene de celles que l'on voit habituellement,j'aime particulièrement la petite lumière au bout du chemin, bien vu.

HI Derek, it's a nice shot, the path creates the depth and the trees above make it look like a red tunnel, fall colors are really stunning in Canada

It has already been written but still..........beautiful colours! There are no special objects to focus to but it is a pleasure to watch the photo as a whole.

Hello Derek,
I also was absent from TE for a while. It's nice to see that you are still here.
Great shot that really captures the feeling of fall. I love that little road fill up with leafs.

Un très bon travail et des couleurs éclatantes comme seul l'automne sait le faire et vous êtes là pour partager avec nous. Excellente composition et "couture parfaite" comme les religieuses d'autrefois qui faisaient des reprises invisibles. LOL
C'est parfait et agréable.
