Hello Jim,
Veteran's Day is celebrated in the US on November 11th also.
Since 1921, it has been a national legal holiday here. Your picture of the this veteran is a wonderful way to honor the war veterans. Judging by the number of medals he is wearing, he has much to recall from the past. You have nice natural colors and expressive details in the photo. Very good job,

You have captured the moment very well, Jim. I like the inclusion of the out of focus youthful Canadians who have chosen to be a part of this ceremony. Oh the stories and memories this veteran could share with us all. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful photo.
